Hello Again!!

Well Hello!
Yes it has been awhile since we talked. hehe
All is well with us Jensen's. We have been seriously taken over by 2 lil girls that came to our home in November. These precious treasures are foster children and so b/c of laws and regulations we are not able to talk publicly re: the girls. So for now I will tell you that we have been pleasantly surprised by this journey. Nothing is what it seems is it???? We have been really busy-life is day by day.

We still have the same dream tucked in our hearts....waiting.......waiting........ the greatest stinking thing is we are so excited to see what????? god is going to do. We know it will happen, it will be like heaven on earth for us-so we wait!!!!!

We sure have had alot happen in just the last few months. We celebrated Thanksgiving together w/all the kids.

We have been given the privilege of becoming grandparents to our first grandchild in July. Its so exciting for us-our daughter is having her first baby:~) Everything is going really well for her also which helps.

Our daughter that started college this fall-well she got married in Feb. to a really good guy who happen to be her best friend:-)

Our 19 yr.old daughter moved into her own apt. and has been working in town and she really enjoys her job. She has meet a guy @ work and they are getting along really well, dating and having alot of fun.

Then there's the next daughter in line and we are getting all the preparations made for her graduation and entrance into college for nursing this fall.
Spring is finally here and what a welcome sight for all.

Our son is STILL waiting on brothers:-W the poor kid he is still surrounded by girls, girls, girls. He wants a skateboarding buddy really bad.

Last but not last is our youngest daughter who wanted to be a big sister and got her want. Now she is trying to learn balance-when both new sisters' want to play w/just her. yeah tricky isn't it. She does a really good job of meeting their needs......which is minute by minute w/ a 3 and 5 yr. old. hehe

Life is a joy, we give the Lord the Glory! the Honor! and All the Praise!! We just celebrated Easter- oh I wish I could post pics the girls' looked so darn cute in their dresses. They were so excited to wear them it was humbling to be a part of it......we all went to our church family that morning. They were darling. We had a glorious time celebrating w/both our church family and then later that day w/my husbands family. The girls got to participate in an Easter egg hunt, they did so well. Smiles from ear to ear. As parents our quiver was full as we lay our heads down on fluffy pillows that night and rehearsed the day's account of happenings. What blessings we have in our lives day in and day out. OH LORD what an honor to walk this journey w/YOU!

Well friends stay happy-choose love towards one another-smile to one another-share the joys and the sorrows w/one another and above all praise one another

Grace and Blessings

WOW time flies

Hello Friends-

I can't believe how fast time flies. I haven't blogged now for about 4 mos. We have been extremly busy with all the Lords Blessings. I must confess, there is alot that has happened to us since we last talked. So, if your not busy w/ laundry, cooking, baking, bathing, or excercising grab a cup of your favorite bev. and take a load off. Lot's to say here.

Where should I begin? How about I just tell you what's happening right at this moment and then I will back track and spill the stuff from the last 4 mos. Right now I am listening to the sound of a little girl talking my leg off. * gigling inside * I love the sound of tiny voices, I love the sound of young voices. My youngest right now is 3. She is coloring in her new coloring book and talking to me the whole time. (she is completely unaware that I am blogging) She has a sister also and she is 5. She happens to be outside playing w/ Vallan. We finally have seen the sun today at just before 5 pm. The bigger kids are taking advantage of it. The temp. is 56* wow- that does seem like spring but don't get to excited b/c the last I heard we are suppose to get snow Sat. and they reported an accumilation of snow- so we will be expecting inches, i guess?? We live in Missouri so this is just normal seasonal chaos.

Our family has grown some. We have an additional 2 kiddos living in our home. These girls are foster children and they originally came to us as an emergency placement and now they have been here for almost 4 mos. That is where " my " time has gone. wew it sure has

Last time I blogged we were just about to start an international adoption for a little boy in Ukraine. We got the call for the girls and everything went in the opposite direction. Who would have thought. Instead of gathering paperwork to be sent as a dossier, we have been gathering paperwork from doctors, schools, therapists, etc.

The thing is- we just were praying that we would be used for the Kingdom of God and when you pray that- well you just never know what you will end up doing. Now we did have some idea as too fostering b/c we had to attend classes and then have a homestudy compiled about our family and then we had training and such, so after all this we did have some idea that we would eventually foster children. We didn't know that we would be fostering instead of adopting.

We didn't decide to take this leap of faith easily and we sure were excited. It's funny how things work out sometimes where we were putting in all the effort to complete all the necessary steps so we would be a licensed adoptive home for Missouri and then just like that we got a call-all of a sudden we were heading in a different direction all together. Foster care is very much different that adoption. There is whole different dynamic that happens in your family when you foster children vs adopt them. There would be lots to say here however I will not. I believe it would take us somewhere else in this conversation if I were to begin that discussion so I will refrain.

Sunday- my journey to Gethsedemy Experience

Well Sunday Morning Church was very fulfilling. Our Pastor spoke about forgiveness and 70x7. He is writing a book about this and teaching us along w/it- I can't wait until it's out. It is going to be great! I hope it comes out towards the New Year 2010. I don't think I can wait past then. He did such a beautiful job on the message Sunday. The scripture he focused us on was- Grace and Favor meet-Justice and Mercy kiss. (note to self-look up). Beautiful job! I can't say enough about it. I won't though. I think that if were to tell what the message meant to me then perhaps that might take away from what you may get out the message. So I will just say I think you all need to go to wolc.com and click on media at the top-choose archives and select Sunday's date-11-08-09 and watch it online. It is so good you will literally be chewing while listening to the message. I did. It ok- chewing is good.hehe

Yesterday was a particularly tough on me.

Happenings!

Well I had originally intended to blog before now as with life and happenings I got to busy. So in this one post I am going to combine all of our happenings into one. We have had a birthday to celebrate in our home, Vallan turned 9 this Nov. 1, 2009. I can hardly believe it. We also celebrated w/our church family - 28 yrs. of Word Of Life Church on Nov. 1st. I will be posting pics of these following this post. We also have been celebrating w/some families that are very dear to ours hearts, their healing. Jesus is amazing! Our family prays and our Lord answers. He does indeed. Not just for us, let me clarify this I don't mean that b/c it's our family that prays that God answers them, NO I know well better than that. Anyone can pray and God will answer them.

Prayers are Holy unto the Lord, He longs for us to communicate w/Him. Share our hearts, joys, life's tragedy's, dreams, passions, and victories! Prayer is as Holy as going to church, sowing seeds by faith, tithing, encouraging others, healing and Water Baptisms. In fact, the Word tells us:

So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and in his good time he will honor you. Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about what happens to you! 1Peter 5: 6-7

We are so very thankful this holiday season that we are together as a family, we have health, love, prosperity is ours and above all we have Christ the Savior of the world as our LORD & KING!

If you have prayer requests leave me a comment or email me and our family will pray for your needs to be met. Philippians 4:19

And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from His Glorious Riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus. Now Glory be to God our Father forever and ever.
Amen

Humbly Yours! Jesus

Hello Friends Greetings from the Jensen's,

I want to start off by prayer this morning.

Father God in Jesus' Name I come before You this day and speak out of my heart to my friends and family. I pray Lord that my words be sweet like medicine, simple for understanding, and heartfelt for change. I pray Lord Jesus that NOT ONE person would be offended by my words, thoughts and impressions of my families daily lives as we live OUTLOUD for You. Father I pray that if someone reading this blog has not come to know You as their personal Lord and Saviour that You would use me to first bring Glory to Your Name and then Honor to Your Presence that I may pray w/them this prayer of salvation. A prayer that has been prayed by Your believers for centuries-

Lord Jesus Forgive Me of My Sins- Wash me clean by the Power of Your Blood and the Righteousness of Your Name- Jesus I declare w/ all my heart that You are the Son of the Living God and that You Died for me, that I might be forgiven of all my sins, reconciled back to You and made whole to serve You all my life. I declare right now by faith that YOU JESUS ARE THE LORD AND SAVIOUR OF MY SOUL. I declare by faith right now that You were raised from the grave and that You are coming back again. I believe Jesus that You are for me not against me and by faith I receive You into my heart. In Jesus' Name-

Thank You Jesus.

Amen and Amen

If you prayed that prayer then you are born again and you to will have an amazing life to lead from this day on. Make sure you get into a Bible believing church and begin today to read the Bible so that you can discover Just how very much God loves you and desires for you to know Him more. Leave me a comment and let me know if you prayed that prayer and we (my family) will begin to pray for you daily. I consider it an honor to pray w/you so please leave me a comment if you have prayer requests or prayer praise to share.

Well I'd like to start off by giving God a Praise Shout from our family. Hallelujah Jesus! Alot has been happening here over the last two weeks. So much so that I don't even know how to begin. We are just about ready to launch our Whosoeverville Ministry news so stay tuned it's going to blow you away. Big stuff! WOW stuff! We are so excited! This has been "years in waiting" and we hope you will be as amazed by God as we are.

We have been really busy here in the Jensen home. We are a homeschooling family and so we spend the most part of our day schooling and the other part of our day doing life. It is never dull here and for the most part truly inspirational. Our Father in heaven never ceases to amaze us and we never know what is in store for us from the time we wake till we rest at night.

Let me take a minute to explain what Whosoeverville Ministries is exactly. My husband and I have been actively involved in Children's Ministry since 2005. We began as servants in our church and then we were in Children's Church helping the Pastor on Sundays. We were if you liken, set up by God.

We quickly found out what we were called to be a part of in the Christian family of God. Who would have guessed that, as we have raised our own children who age from 29, 27, 19, 18, 17, 12, and 8 over these years.

We went from our church family in Children's Ministry to another church family to pioneer w/them a Church and Children's Ministry. We began our " Whosoeverville Ministry" last year. Our adventure was pretty short lived and w/ great sadness I must tell you we were over before the year was through. We have had such complete trust in God to take us from victory, to victory, glory to glory. It has been a rough road though.

However, I must add that we do not grow weary or faint when we walk by faith for what God's promises are for us. We just glean all we can and know that He must keep us on the road of His Purposes. Friends if I can share 1 thing w/you as you journey w/Jesus and that would be you must KNOW I mean know deep in your heart that God is ALWAYS for us never against us. If you know about God and don't know that much I must say that you have a twisted view of God. HE is always for us! NEVER against us! HE loves us so much as HE GAVE His Only Son Up for our eternal salvation. His Spirit is always gentle, meek, kind, faithful, humble, full of self-control and His Word proves it!

With that said- we have certainly grown by faith after having such experiences. We would not change a thing. Our tapestries belong to God our Father and we trust His creative eye that they are woven acceptances by Him, for Him, b/c of Him to the Glory of Jesus.

So as we begin the " launch" of Whosoeverville Ministries we might add that this is phase 2. hehe

Due to time constaints I must bid farewell today. stay tuned more to come

God Bless and Grace to You my friends and family

Our Passion

Hello Friends, I invite you along our journey through life, making friends, laughing together, sharing our thoughts, imaginations, and dreams. We are a family with a HUGE DREAM. It's a little early to share just what that dream is but trust me it will be worth the wait.

James 1:17 is close to my heart today- Whatever is good and perfect comes to us from God above, who created all heaven's lights. Unlike them, he never changes or casts shifting shadows. In his goodness he chose to make us his own children by giving us his true word. And we, out of all creation, became his choice possession. NLT

The last part of that scripture is where my heart stands still today. Out of all creation, became his choice possession. WOW! That means whether we live in mansions or mud houses we are still HIS CHOSEN POSSESSION!

This scripture bids my heart to stand still- in the moment and just let that sink in...............

The next part of that scripture I am moved by is- In HIS GOODNESS, HE chose to make us his own children by giving us his true word. I take that to mean that while we were being conceived we were surrounded by HIS GOODNESS. We were made from goodness. WOW let us just let that sink in.............

So there is no misunderstanding for why we are here. If we all decided that we would each pick one day and use that one day to speak God's word into someone else' life say this scripture for instance- if we were to say 'Did you know that when you were created you were surrounded by God's goodness?' Wouldn't that be something to see on people's faces? It kind of is quite humbling to think about. Once you speak into someones life they will forever remember those words. Those words immediately go into what we call memory. As that person goes about their day those words will keep coming up in their imagination and they will begin to ponder what was said to them. Do you see how powerful words are? They either consecrate or cremate one's self image. Wouldn't it be amazing to decide today was the day that we took a stand with regarding our words. What if we decided that we would put ALL of our efforts in using our words to consecrate others all day long. What if we made it part of our journey through life to lift others up by God's word. He promises that it is truth. So how can we go wrong. WE CAN'T! Can we begin to use this as a way to do something different? Be someone different, you know when we were created, God's goodness surrounded us- can we decide then that we need to choose today as the first day to be like the image of our God Jehovah who is good, and loving and gentle and has chosen us as HIS POSSESSION?

Wouldn't that change us on how we search the scriptures of God's word if we knew that we were searching for truth to say to others all day long. Is that empowering? To know that we can impact someones life just by spending a little time in the Word of God and allowing the Holy Spirit to lead us to people, His people to give that truth a voice.

Wouldn't it be amazing to see the change on someones face when you speak God's word to them? Now of course I am not saying to dominate someones space by throwing God's word at them like you must know the Bible and wow aren't you smart. I am suggesting that you be humble and full of God's grace about HIS WORD. Remember His Word is holy. Holy is a term that many people don't use often. It is a word that reminds us of power. Power that is not used to cremate someone but rather consecrate someone. Please hear my heart here- it is not wise to try to overpower others with your knowledge of God's Word. That can get very ugly really quick and you will be on your own. God's goodness is NOT shared that way. Remember God is gentle, kind, and meek. So present yourself likewise.

Father God , my sweet Jehovah ,I pray today right now by faith that today is the day that I can make a difference in someone else' life. I am honored to know Your truth and to speak it. I take this very humbly and my heart bids me to walk from this day forward in kindness, meekness, and gentleness, just like You. I pray Lord that you will continue to work in me and through me as I search the scriptures of Your Word to bless someone else with. I pray Lord that the words of my mouth and the thoughts of my heart be pleasing to You today and everyday from this day forward. Father I give You all the praise, honor and the glory, In Jesus Name'
amen and amen
